Local 9 Year Old Boys Win National Basketball Championship
Posted on July 23rd, 2009 No commentsLast Thursday, July 16th , our local Charlotte based QCAA Force 9U Red basketball team earned a trip to the Final Four of the USBA National Championship Tournament held in Myrtle Beach, SC. In the national semi-final game, the QCAA Force beat the Redemption Warriors of Greenville, SC 41-32 in a closely contested game.
In Saturday’s National Championship game, the QCAA Force held on to beat the Tennessee Elite by 4 points in a thrilling 26-22 victory. Saturday’s National Championship Win also marked the First National Championship earned by a QCAA Force team in the history of the Charlotte based AAU basketball program. In April, this same team won the North Carolina AAU State Basketball Championship for 9U by beating the Winston Salem Lakers in the State Championship Game.

#55 – Brian “BJ” Mack – Charlotte, NC
Coaches include, Michael Praeger of Cornelius, Kelvin Montague of Davidson, and Brian Mack of Charlotte.
